OUR PURPOSE

Yoga Life Villa and Exhale Yoga Studio emerged from a deep desire to create a magical healing space surrounded by the sea, ocean views and lush Caribbean countryside to bring unity to the community. Our heartfelt and eco-friendly environment is designed to encourage and support transformation for all humankind.

OUR INTENTION

Through the creation of our specialized retreat offerings, we address the multi-faceted dimensions of the body, mind, and spirit to restore health and well being. We also offer hosted retreat leaders from the global wellness community, teacher training, workshops, corporate seminars, yoga immersions, rest & restore day passes and personal custom retreats.

ECO FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE

We are proud to be part of the solution. Yoga Life Villa Retreat Center was designed, reusing & repurposing existing materials and eco-friendly products sourced directly from the island. We generate our energy from the power of the sun and clean water from our in- ground well.

INTERIOR & EXTERIOR DESIGN

Creates a natural flow, a sense of balance and grace through natural stone walls, real wood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, cana roofs, and india decor, a modern Caribbean meets India vibe and magnificent 360-degree panoramic views.

ORGANIC GARDEN

Based on a permaculture closed-end concept, we utilize the energy of the sun, earth, air, space, well water, rainwater collection system, drip irrigation, and mulch compost to grow, nourish and harvest on site, farm-to-table herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

OUR STORY

In 2015, Mauray Campagna embarked on her journey to Las Terrenas from a divine spiritual calling to serve. Listening to the whispers of her heart, Mauray envisioned and created a magical retreat space with the guidance & support of a diverse and international community. Born and raised within a family of real estate developers in Southern California, Mauray has designed, restored, and managed many properties and vacation rentals in the US and Dominican Republic. She became an advertising and marketing executive for the top Los Angeles advertising agencies, The Walt Disney Company, Buena Vista Television, and owner of MC Packaging Solutions & POP.

As a long-time health and wellness practitioner and yoga teacher, her training expands three decades of study with master teachers and educators from around the globe to include Anand Mehrotra, Judith Lasater Ph.D., Tommy Rosen, and Kia Miller.

Mauray welcomes you to the Yoga Life Villa community!

She will be your host and spirit guide throughout your stay. Her teachings are holistic, integrative, and profoundly transformational. She is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, and AIREAL Yoga teacher certified by the worldwide organization of Yoga Alliance. Mauray also founded the “Women with Purpose” A non-profit foundation “Educate. Empower. Evolve”.

The ultimate goal of yoga life is Universal Connection. Unifying the mind, body and spirit to discover the truth of who we are.
